PARK THE CAR – AND LEAVE IT THERE.
We’re easy to find (even with road buzz and too much truck-stop coffee). As you drive north into Crested Butte on Highway 135, the Old Town Inn is the first building on your left, 708 Sixth Street. Once you’re here, you can take a vacation from your car if you want and explore Crested Butte by foot or via the free town shuttle.
THE CHARMING, HISTORIC DOWNTOWN.
We’re in the colorful old town of Crested Butte, next to the Center for the Arts, Town Park, movie theater, grocery store and an excellent deli/eatery. A short stroll takes you to the bustling center of town, with great dining, shopping, galleries and entertainment.
THE CONTEMPORARY SKI AREA.
From our door, guests can be on the ski slopes (three miles away) in 15 minutes, thanks to the free Mountain Express shuttle bus. Ski area shuttles run every 15 minutes in the winter and every 20 minutes in the summer. For added ease, our guests may store their skis free of charge at a base area ski shop.
ADVENTURES BEYOND.
The Old Town Inn also gives you handy access for wider explorations (see the activities section to discover some new experiences). The Town Ranch Nordic Loop starts nearby, and guests can walk to the ice skating rink, sledding hill and Nordic Center with its 50-kilometer trail system. In the summer, you can start many hikes or bike rides right from the inn. Within a short drive you’ll find almost boundless backcountry skiing, hiking and mountain biking options.
We look forward to greeting you when you arrive, and we’d be happy to help you choose your daily adventures – in town, on the slopes or farther into the mountains.
